9. Activities and experience
What are the activities and experience of your organisation in the areas it works in?
Arrel d´ Idees develops and implements educational programs, workshops and different projects for youth and youth/social workers in order to improve their daily work and to enhance their European values. We work on different topics: self development and wellbeing/ environment and sustainability / social inclusion with special focus on gender equality.
Our methodologies are based on non formal learning activities to enable young people and youth workers to acquire essential competences and skills that contribute to their personal and socio-educational development.
We strongly believe and stand for a sense of community and citizen participation in order to bring solutions and initiatives to the needs of our community, that´s why we promote different activities to address them. We are part of a regional network that works around social inclusion and youth, and we take part in many activities that each organization delivers.
Regarding Erasmus+ Program, we organize youth exchanges and training courses to raise awareness about gender equality, environmental awareness and social inclusion in general with focus in participants with fewer opportunities.
