Since its establishment, the organization has been committed to empowering young people by providing opportunities for personal development, non-formal education, creativity, and active participation in community life. Our mission is to support young people in becoming confident, socially responsible, and proactive citizens. In our daily work with local youth and international volunteers under the European Solidarity Corps (ESC) and the Erasmus+ Programme, we promote core European values such as intercultural dialogue, tolerance, solidarity, respect for diversity, democracy, and active citizenship. CENTER FOR INTERETHNIC DIALOGUE AND TOLERANCE AMALIPE (Amalipe Tsentar za mezhduetnicheski dialog I tolerantnost) is a leading Roma organization working for equal integration of Roma in the Bulgarian society. The organization plays central role in the organization of Roma civil movement and advocates for Roma integration to government institutions. Amalipe Center believes in the equal integration of Roma in society based on the preservation of Roma identity, mutual understanding and solidarity between Bulgarians and Roma. Our mission is to stimulate modernize and empower Roma community in Bulgaria for its active participation and equal access to resources and development processes, with priority focus on access to quality education, quality health care and social services, as well as on empowerment of Roma women and youths.
