About the organisation

Teachers Education Academy (TEA) is a dynamic and forward-thinking organization dedicated to empowering educators worldwide. Our mission is to provide innovative and high-quality professional development opportunities for teachers, enabling them to enhance their skills, knowledge, and pedagogical practices. TEA offers a wide range of courses, workshops, and training programs focused on various aspects of education, including environmental education, collaborative learning, and experiential methods.

Founded with the belief that continuous learning and improvement are essential for educational excellence, TEA collaborates with experts and institutions globally to create rich and impactful learning experiences. We strive to bridge the gap between theory and practice, providing educators with practical tools and strategies they can apply in their classrooms.

Our recent initiatives include organizing international events to introduce different educational systems, such as the Estonian education system, and developing courses that address contemporary educational challenges. Through these efforts, we aim to foster a community of educators who are well-equipped to inspire and lead the next generation of learners.

TEA is committed to promoting inclusivity, sustainability, and innovative approaches in education, ensuring that educators are prepared to meet the diverse needs of their students in an ever-changing world.

Activities and experience

Teachers Education Academy (TEA) is actively engaged in a variety of activities and has extensive experience in areas relevant to Erasmus+ projects, particularly in the field of environmental education and innovative pedagogical methods. Some key activities and experiences include:

International Training Courses: TEA organizes and conducts training courses for educators on a global scale. One notable course is "Solution-Oriented Approaches to Environmental Education," scheduled from October 7 to October 11, 2024. This course aims to equip educators with practical skills and knowledge to address environmental challenges through education, emphasizing collaboration, real-world applications, and experiential learning.

Events on Educational Systems: In April, TEA hosted an event introducing the Estonian education system. This event included school visits and Q&A sessions with Estonian educators, providing participants with valuable insights into innovative educational practices. The event attracted 10 participants from various countries, fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Course Development: TEA is developing a comprehensive course for educators worldwide, focusing on energy and agriculture topics within environmental education. The course aims to provide a baseline understanding of these topics and showcase the value of various pedagogical methods through hands-on experiences in an education-focused eco-community.

Collaboration with Experts: TEA collaborates with education experts and institutions globally to design and deliver high-quality professional development programs. These collaborations ensure that our offerings are grounded in the latest research and best practices in education.

Promoting Inclusivity and Sustainability: TEA is committed to promoting inclusive education and sustainable practices. Our programs are designed to be accessible to educators from diverse backgrounds and to address the pressing environmental issues of our time.

Innovative Pedagogical Methods: Our courses emphasize experiential learning, collaboration, and the integration of theory and practice. Participants experience various pedagogical methods firsthand, enabling them to implement these strategies effectively in their own teaching contexts.

Through these activities, TEA has demonstrated its ability to design and implement impactful educational programs that align with the goals of Erasmus+ projects, particularly in the areas of environmental education and innovative teaching methods.
