About the organisation
The Association Point of View is a civil society organization dedicated to the
protection and promotion of human and social rights, with a strong focus on the
rights of socially excluded and marginalized groups. Through our work, we strive
to encourage institutions, society as a whole, and individuals to actively contribute
to building inclusive, just, and safe communities. Our mission is to prevent and
combat violence, hate speech, and all forms of discrimination, while also
addressing and reducing their long-term social consequences.
The Association Point of View was established in January 2022 by a group of
professionals with extensive experience in the non-governmental and civil society
sector. The founders and members of the organization bring many years of
expertise in designing and implementing projects aimed at improving the social
position of young people, with particular attention to members of the Roma
national minority and other vulnerable groups. Our team has strong experience in
international and European cooperation, especially through participation in
Erasmus+ and Europe for Citizens programs, as well as other initiatives focused on
youth participation, social inclusion, and active citizenship.
The core of our work is the empowerment and support of young people, enabling
them to recognize and develop their full personal, social, and professional
potential. We believe that informed, confident, and engaged young people are key
drivers of positive social change. For this reason, we place a strong emphasis on
education, capacity-building, and the promotion of non-formal learning as an
effective and inclusive educational approach.
Our activities also focus on raising environmental awareness and promoting
responsible attitudes toward nature and sustainable development, as well as
fostering intercultural dialogue and understanding. We actively promote the values
of justice, equality, solidarity, and mutual respect, recognizing them as essential
foundations for the long-term development of democratic and inclusive societies.
In addition, Point of View is committed to the protection of human rights and the
prevention of all forms of abuse, violence, and exploitation, particularly affecting
young people, women, children, members of the Roma community, persons with
disabilities, and other socially vulnerable groups. Through advocacy, education,
and community-based initiatives, we work to improve the quality of life, social
inclusion, and equal participation of these groups, aiming to ensure their full and
meaningful integration into society. The Association is an independent organization of
persons who have shown interest in associating in order to improve mutual communication and
cooperation, exchange knowledge and organize activities that should contribute to achieving
equality and equal inclusion of all members of society.
