Pan-European University "APEIRON" is an educational and scientific institution that performs academic studies of the first cycle, specialist and master studies of the second cycle doctoral studies of the third cycle, life-long learning and continuous professional training and development. The University also conducts basic and applied research in the main scientific areas of accredited study programs, as well as research that is in the function of the development of educational activities.

Please briefly present your organisation.

Pan-European University APEIRON is a higher education and research institution based in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The University provides education at bachelor, master and doctoral levels and combines teaching, scientific research, professional development and international cooperation.

APEIRON brings together expertise from a wide range of disciplines, including economics and management, information technologies, law, health sciences, transport and engineering, sport, environmental protection and related interdisciplinary fields. Its Scientific Research Institute supports research, innovation and cooperation with academic institutions, public authorities, businesses and civil society organisations.

The University has experience in international cooperation and EU-funded initiatives, including Erasmus+ mobility activities, and actively promotes knowledge exchange, lifelong learning, digital transformation, sustainability and the practical application of research results.

What are the activities and experience of your organisation in the areas it works in?

APEIRON carries out higher education, scientific and applied research, professional training, lifelong learning and international cooperation. Its activities include the development and delivery of educational programmes, research projects, training courses, conferences, workshops, student and staff mobility, dissemination activities and cooperation with external stakeholders.

The University has participated in national and international projects in areas including environmental protection and ecology, biodiversity, sustainable development, organic agriculture, digitalisation, information technologies, entrepreneurship, lifelong learning, public administration, health, sport and social development. It has also implemented Erasmus+ KA1 mobility activities with European partner institutions.

APEIRON is particularly interested in interdisciplinary projects addressing environmental sustainability, climate resilience, circular economy, green and digital skills, artificial intelligence and digital transformation, adult and lifelong learning, entrepreneurship, inclusion, youth engagement and capacity building. The University can contribute to research and needs assessment, development of educational materials, training, pilot activities, stakeholder engagement, dissemination, evaluation and exploitation of project results.
