About the organisation
Karaman Public Education Center is a state adult education institution serving the local community through lifelong learning, continuing education and vocationally oriented training. Its role includes planning and coordinating adult learning activities, organising courses and seminars, supporting adult educators through in-service training, and widening access to learning for people who face educational, social or employment-related disadvantages.
The institution combines formal public-sector capacity with community-level outreach. Its activities are designed not only to provide knowledge, but also to strengthen employability, social participation, personal development, digital inclusion and the ability of adults to adapt to changing labour-market and societal needs. This makes Karaman HEM a suitable partner for Erasmus+ Adult Education (KA220-ADU), VET–adult learning interfaces, inclusion projects, digital transformation, green transition, financial literacy, active citizenship and community resilience initiatives.
Karaman HEM has been involved in educational project work since 2005 and the existing Partner Information Form reports participation in more than 20 international projects, with a particular focus on adult and vocational education. Its project background includes Grundtvig/Lifelong Learning Programme activities, Erasmus+ mobility and strategic partnership actions, as well as locally funded projects.
